Spring ’15 Hits the Scene

Eager to continue the growth of the chapter, we worked tirelessly to host a variety of programs and activities for our UNCG community to learn and interact with the chapter. With a fairly young Sigma chapter working collectively together , our five members focused on branding Sigma image on campus of UNCG, attracting three lovely ladies who decided to take the journey the sisterhood. On April 25th, 2015 Accacia Dickerson, Terrika Pittman, and Jasmine Williams officially joined the sisterhood.

Accacia Says: When I first met the ladies of the Omicron Eta chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho sorority, it was like nothing I’ve ever encountered before. Everything about the chapter felt so genuine and welcoming. The ladies possessed so much individuality, but they were all so together. It was captivating. I could still be myself while with a group of educated, motivated, and passionate sisters. Not once did I ever feel the need to change to feel accepted. That’s what attracted me to the Omicron Eta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho sorority, Incorporated.

Terrika Says: What attracted me to OH was how friendly and dedicated the members were. They were always willing to answer questions when you needed assistance. You were able to open up and be yourself around the members. The events were always fun and educational. They were always involved on campus. They truly represent Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. the correct way.

Jasmine says: The current chapter members and history of the organization is what attracted me to the Omicron Eta chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The ladies are classy, friendly, intelligent, and relatable. The chapter and sorority are unique. It was something truly special about the chapter and I wanted to be a part of it. Seeing how active the ladies were on campus and in the community inspired me to take part and to become a better woman as a whole.
