After a first rainy week of classes, UNCG finally pulled off a successful “Fall Kickoff.” Many people stopped by and asked questions about our several events we will be having throughout the semester. While people stopped by to get more information and to chat we were always encouraging them to participate in our raffle. We were having a raffle to win a $25 visa gift card. The tickets were $1 a piece. All proceeds went towards buying school supplies for our very own Omicron Eta poodles Saadia Owen and Shanta Jackson-Brown.
